Product Description

Barium stearate, white or slightly yellow amorphous powder, melting point >225ºC, has a stimulating effect on the central nervous system, soluble in hot ethanol, benzene, toluene and other non-polar solvents, insoluble in water and ethanol. It is heated and dissolved in an organic solvent and then cooled into a gelatinous substance. It is absorbent in the air. Sulphide pollution free. Strong acids decompose into stearic acid and corresponding barium salts..

Application

1. Used as high temperature resistant lubricant for machines, high temperature resistant additives for rubber products, light and heat resistant stabilizer for polyvinyl chloride plastics;
2, Used as a heat stabilizer of PVC products;
3. Used as waterproofing agent, lubricant and bearing filling material;
4, Used as rubber products of high temperature resistant powder.  Mainly used in soft transparent film, sheet, artificial leather and hard board, tube and so on. It can also be used as high temperature release agent and high temperature lubricant for machinery.
5, Used as a vinyl chloride copolymer heat stabilizer. It has good long-term heat resistance and lubricity,
stability effect is greater than calcium stearate.
