Isonalt is a new functional sugar alcohol in the world, which is an excellent substitute for sucrose, starch sugar and others.
It has the characteristics of low moisture absorption, high stability, high tolerance, low calories, and pure sweetness. The product is extremely safe, does not cause dental caries.
At present, isomalt has been widely used in the production of various foods: hard candy and soft candy, chewing gum, chocolate, jelly, refreshing drinks, ice cream, baked products and pressed tablets.
1. White odorless crystal, sweet in taste, with a sweetness of about 45% - 65% of sucrose
2. Slightly hygroscopic, melting range 145~150 ºC
3. Soluble in water, its solubility in water is lower than that of sucrose at room temperature, and it can be close to sucrose after heating, but it is insoluble in ethanol.
