Dioctyl Sebacic acid, also known as bis (2-ethylhexyl) sebacate, bis (2-ethylhexyl) sebacate, light yellow liquid in Standard state, slightly soluble in water, easily soluble in ethanol and ether. It is the raw material for manufacturing nylon 610 fibers and nylon 9 fibers. Its esters are plasticizers in the plastic industry.

Application

Dioctyl Sebacic acid is not only used as PVC cable material, but also used in PVC cold resistant film, Artificial leather and other products. It can also be used as a plasticizer for various rubbers, nitrocellulose, ethyl cellulose, polymethyl methacrylate, polystyrene, vinyl chloride, vinyl acetate copolymer, etc.
