N-hexane is a colorless liquid with low toxicity and weak special smell. N-hexane is a chemical solvent, which is mainly used in the polymerization of olefins such as propylene, the extraction agent of edible vegetable oil, the solvent of rubber and paint, and the diluent of pigment.

1. n-hexane is mainly used as a solvent in industry, for preparing viscose to bond shoe leather and bags, and for wiping and cleaning in the production process of electronic information industry

2. Crude oil extraction in food manufacturing industry, propylene solvent recovery in plastic manufacturing industry, extractant in chemical experiments, and floral solvent extraction in daily chemical production also use n-hexane.
